Andrew Easson was Fiona's paternal grandmother's brother. Fiona's gran
visited with her daughter and son-in-law once. While there we found a
Dalgarno, who might be related to the aforesaid son-in-law. As you say, so
many Seaforths and Black Watch.

Her other relatives are on the Thiepval memorial, two Stewart brothers with
the Black Watch. Fiona's dad was also Black Watch, just too late to see
service in WW2. They were on their way to the Far East when the war ended,
and were diverted to occupation duty in Austria.

As I mentioned once before, my mum's father and his brother both served and
came home. No idea about the MacDonald side. But we did find a McLeod in
Flatiron Copse from near my McLeod relatives in Skye...
