Serendipity led me to the Z. 50-250 F5.? Jeff K sniped one for super cheap on
yabe and I think he liked it better than the Tam 60-300.?? He really didn't
need the extra one and sold it to me at cost. (Thanks, Jeff) ?I have had some
nice keepers with the Z. so no regrets. ?I have had one? or 2? Tam 60-300's in
my sights in the past.? Dean likes to use it on the autotube as well as a
butterfly rig.? Never have really seen any other comments on the relative
sharpness.
I do know on my light travel pod the bean or shot filled bag is often ?a
necessity for the Z and really helps a bunch.
