This is always a bit confusing and there have been threads on this led by Dr. 
Focus.? DOF is solely a function of aperture and magnification; so looked at in 
that light sensor size is not included. In a practical manner to render the 
same subject the same way in a larger format the focal length of the lens must 
increase or one has to get closer assuming everyting else is also kept 
constant. (viewing distance to?print, size of print)
So the 2 stop difference with FF from 4/3 in dof is exactly the way I think of 
it as well. I'll now quickly exit this circle of confusion.
