Yes, Flickr does take ages to work, what with a combination of Adobe Flash
player and javascript. And the images end up being displayed small.
Funny thing, I was able to retrieve the full size images (80 - 240 kb) as
uploaded by Wiliam, from the browser cache. When I tried to save them
using mouse right-click (the normal way with Opera), Flickr by default had
me save some nonsense gif file. The files as uploaded by Wiliam are much
better.
Give me html page coding and jpg files every time!
