Actually, usually the transfer within the IBAN zone (which BTW is not
the same as the EU, since there are now 44 countries participating in
the system, i.e. all 27 EU countries and 17 non-EU members) is much
faster than 3 days. I transfer money from Spain to the Netherlands
and to the UK at least once a month, and the money hits the
recipient's bank account within a couple of hours of me inputting the
transfer on my end.
