And a death wish.  No-one should hike to the spot underneath the 
glacier's headwall.  The chunks that come off the headwall during a 
collapse can be the size of office buildings, and by the time they, uh, 
met up with you, they'd be traveling hundreds of kilometres an hour. 
They'd never find your remains...

It is really REALLY hard to convey the scales you're experiencing in the 
Rockies.  Everything's absurdly oversized -- photos don't do it all 
justice.  It's only clambering around for awhile that really awakens you 
to the scale of the place.  That's why I tried to keep people in some of 
the shots -- at least one gets a limited sense of perspective and scale.

Glad they brought back good memories.  (They *were* good ones, weren't 
they?)
