As I commented originally, I still think it will be interesting to see how it 
compares to the best
current P/s cameras when they do a side by side review.  My experience with 
friends "high
resolution" p/s digitals, is they seem awfully noisey. The sensor sites are now 
as small as
videocam ccd's.

Because the "filters" broadly overlap on Foveon, when they seperate the colors 
in the DSP post
processing, this degrades s/n even though they should capture ~3x more photons, 
which otherwise
would be a big advantage in s/n.  

But, hopefully this will encourage other vendors into thinking of making p/s 
with larger sensors
too.
