Hi, John;

  No, I haven't had any problem with the motor drive by itself; just when using
it with the T-45 flash. The T-45 flash works fine on the camera without the
motor drive.

  (I did seem to have some problems with an F280 flash this summer: using it
for fill flash, it seemed to be illuminating less than the left quarter of the
frame... but that might have been due to the shutter speed bouncing about on or
about 1/60th - haven't really used it enough to know for sure and of course
just when I really needed it, it didn't perform to my expectations).

Exactly right Chuck. Does the motor fire off more than one when using
one of the motor drive release buttons?
