Pretty much my experience with the different supplier, Johann.  Have you
measured the overexposure at different apertures? I find it varies with the
aperture used - maybe that is why the original Olympus recommendations for
OM lenses on E-1 specified limited aperture ranges (not for the resolution
limits, but for the metering uniformity).

The focusing screen I ordered from jinfinance just came with the mail, took
only about a week to arrive.  I popped it in right away of course, and at
first look it seems brighter than the default screen, it does wonders with
the 300mm f/4.5 mounted (halves do not darken, have not tried it with any
other lenses), but it seems to cause about 1-2 stop overexposure which must
be compensated for.

I don't have the comparison with the other screens sold for $100+, but this
for $26 is just a bargain imho.
