Well, I don't know about "patronizing," but when I showed the E-410 to a
female friend of mine last weekend, she hefted it, held it up to her
eye, hefted it again and murmured "Now, *that's* more like it." She's
been complaining for the better part of a year now that the offerings in
the DSLR market are too large and heavy for her tastes.
The E-410 reminds me a lot of the image I had in my mind for what I'd
hoped would be Oly's *first* DSLR release -- small, relatively light,
and very competent (albeit not "pro-level"). I'm liking it,
particularly with some legacy Zuikos mounted on it. It really does feel
a lot like an OM-series camera that way...
