Indeed. I wrote him if he would change his mind but didn't reply.
Fortunately, I have a friend in France but is right now at Valencia on
holiday ... The hood went rather cheap and seems it will stay in England.
I tend to convince myself that I don't need one, because it would make
me difficult to use my polarizer when the hood is clamped on. And the
21/3.5 is quite resistant to flare.
