This is the sub-$400 compact that Olympus should be building - http://www.dpreview.com/news/0702/07022006_nikonp5000.asp Just got one for review with the SB-400 flash (like a miniature T32) and I'm seriously impressed. Seen 10x8's from it and they're damn good. And it's got a thumbwheel and an optical finder! And a hot shoe and strap lugs and cup holders. No RAW but. I hope it's got lousy high ISO performance or something or it's going to be a rather sycophantic review. Damn.
