Pul-eeze! Try a 3051 or 3058. Now *them* is heavy beasties!
I've schlepped my 3051 into the field many times over the years.
Sure, I curse it every step of the way! Up until it's time to use it!
Truth to tell, I recently acquired a Gitzo G2220 for 'how low can you
go' kind of work. That series is their answer to the Benbo/Uniloc
design which I still prefer, but they're too big for legal luggage.
