I like CCR and JF, but am regularly amused to remember that they are
from here on the left coast, just a very short way from here in El
Cerrito. One lived near an early girlfirend, later wife. I think they
had a couple of other names early on, but I only remember the Blue
Velvets, who played high school proms and such.
