Wish I was..Air Force didnt want me when I applied 25 years ago and a lot of my
friends joined but I do have a long history with the Air force.. 700 Wing
Member, wife is Recording secretary, mom and pop-in law were RAF, as a child,
my mom got food drops in Holland at the Allied Liberation of Holland in Arnhem,
we were there for the 60th anniversary..
After serving in the CAF my Uncle started a business years ago called

Now my son wants to join, I maintain the Hangar/Air Museum at Blatchford
field here in Edmonton when i am home..mop floors, change light bulbs, polish
aircraft, move displays etc
I currently on contract for Baffinland Iron Mines, (TSX:BIM)and am an
electrical contractor/ Power Generation specialist for the mining companies in
the arctic..so I still get my share of air time, I love to Fly
BTW, the Iron ore at this mine is so pure I can pick up 2 pieces of rock from
the ground and put it on the welding table and weld it together.. I'll do this
on my next rotation and take pics and post it..66.8% avg grade Iron Oxide ..
heavy metal...no refining.. just send it to the smelter..
