That depends on your needs. The Simpletech cards in Rob Galbraith's 
tests are pretty slow. I can't tell if the advertised card is the same 
as the 1gb that he tested, but from the price, I would guess so.

It would likely slow down shot to shot time quite noticeably on an E-500 
compared to one of the fast cards
