Bingo! it worked!
I've always been a firewire kinda guy. Have stacks of FW drives for
various things. Love the fact that my E1 speaks 1394.
Forgot just how much until I had to offload the theatre's Rebel the
other night via USB, and figured out that I could go out for a pizza,
beer, a movie, and some ice cream afterwards and still get home in time
to watch it finish.....
