Hi everyone,
Does the E-1 require a circular polarizer? I've just been testing a
non circular polarizer with my E-1 for the first time, and it seems
to work fine. There seems to be no negative effect on the auto
exposure, the auto focusing, or anything else.
Should I be surprised at this? Or is this well known?
There is a slim possibility that the polarizer is actually circular,
but I don't think so. Nothing on the package mentions anything about
it being circular.
