Great that your mood has improved! A question though, isn't there
a similarity between this shot and the previous one, with regard
to where the base of the canyon wall is? The only difference being water
versus ground? I'm just trying to understand, since I'm a photographer
without a clue half the time. Or does it have to do with the fluid water
moving horizontal with rocks pointing vertical. Or anything to do
with big rock thingy pointing up? (sorry, strike that)

I'm also reminded of some of the Buddhas destroyed by the Taliban.
They have the same shape as 4/3 shot. Also I'm wonder if the rule of 5ths
means there should be an equal amount above the black rock as there
is water below? I personally like shots that have a subconscious pull
and invoke some mystery. Not everything is to be understood. To me
4/4 is nice but 4/3 has mystery and boldness. What's the rule of fifths?
I've heard thirds and golden section, but not fifths. Personally, I go by
the rule of the unconscious, and usually only see stuff after the fact.
Definitely 4/3 would hold my attention longer. I also wonder, if the water
were glass smooth versus fluid? As is, the fluidity contrasts with
rigidity. OK, I'm weird, I know, but I like not understanding. But I also
like hanging and looking over the edge of the abyss while others do not.

I think 4/3 touches deeper symbolic roots holding a mystery, just beyond
knowing, a mountain-river Gnome god ready to snatch your ruby slippers.
A majestic god indifferent to pets with cameras taking pictures. A buddha
sitting in samadhi...
