Over lunch time I tried my Moose warming polarizer on the C8080. With
WB set to auto, the camera nullifies the warming effect of the
polarizer. It would be important to set WB either the "daylight"
(which is default for preset 1, I believe -- at least that's what
mine's set to) or to record a custom WB setting.
I had forgotten how difficult it is to set up a PL on the C8080, with
the meter always trying to refresh the display as you turn the ring.
I think the workaround is to hit the AEL button so that the display
becomes fixed, dial in the polarizer effect you want, and the then hit
the AEL button to release the meter and re-meter the scene.
