The B&L Elite series of products seem to be great value for the price. I
have a variable power gun scope and a range finder from them and both seem
to be very good. It's too early to test for durability but they function
well so far. My local dealer thinks B&L has priced this line low to try to
break into the higher-end market. /jmac

Sure, but I already have the B&L Waterproof Elites for those situations,
sealed, Nitrogen purged, all that useful stuff. The SEs would be for
less extreme weather where their amazing images, yet with lighter weight
and slammer size would be best suited. Also, I generally use binocs
without my glasses
