Its price on ebay is around 500-700 which is a lot

And both share one thing, they're discontinued

Sadly, almost anything that shoots film is now a discontinued camera. You
can probably save a bit by buying the chrome or whatever version, the prices
you quote seem more for the higher priced black bodies. IF you want to
continue to shoot film, and that's really the main question, don't hesitate,
get one. I have one (thanks of course to Tom Scales), and it has been
completely reliable. It is fun to use, as it fits my hand well, and has a
remarkable viewfinder. I don't know what the service situation is where you
live, but I know the USA service is fine, unless both John and Clint are hit
by cement trucks or something. There are, apparently, good servicemen in
some European countries. Generally, we will tell you to get a CLA, but I
must be honest and say that I haven't bothered, and probably won't until
something like foam rot sets in.

In other works, one in good condition will probably last as long as you can
regularly get film, and I expect that to be quite a while.
