Good idea, I had thought of maybe getting a machine shop to make me one 
out of aluminum (that's one thing I miss about the UK - not having the 
contacts to get these type of jobs done for free).

But I guess I have to be careful about what material I choose so that 
the glue doesn't stick to it.
