She prefers the jeep so she can jump curbs easier. But she does
like the sunroof, leather interior, climate control, stereo,
color, classiness, the 160mph speedometer...

I've barely touched them, myself. I've converted maybe ten
images so far. Sold several already. It all comes down to our
own definition of "keeper". For me, there are "artistic
keepers" that result in print sales and then there are "stock
images" which may eventually result in whatever commercial use.
Oh, and then there are the "personal interest" shots. My
sellable shots would probably be no more than 25 from that trip.
Course, there were multiple dupes of the sellable shots so it's
hard to calculate exactly. But I'll keep around 400 from the
trip in the files as you never know when you can use some
mistake.

This weekend I shot around 250 pictures resulting in maybe 100
sellable shots. Absolutely nothing of artistic interest, but
sellable none-the-less. Dupes galore--different angles, focal
lengths, etc., of the same subjects.

The reality is, I'll most likely make more money from this past
weekend's shoot than the trip up north. However, if it wasn't
for the previous trip, I wouldn't have been able to shoot this
past weekend. I got the distraction of "pretty pictures" out of
the way so I could shoot something that actually pays the
freight.

Now, with that all said, I'm planning my "Wintertime Porcupines"
trip. <smile>
