I may be wrong but am thinking Oly implemented something similar on
the LCDs of (at least) some of the later model C-XXXXZ cams. I recall
that the LCD offered a magnified view of the actual subject in the
manual focus mode. Very handy as I recall. Had a C-2020Z for a short
while and sold it to one of my doctors who had a ball with it.
