I bought a 512mb CF Microdrive....they are great but very delicate. I 
dropped it and luckily Hitachi replaced it with a 2gb drive. As for 
conventional CF cards...some of my older cards (small 16mb/32mb) have 
collected dust.....I am talking caked on but they still work great!
