Depends on the size of the pinhole and the focal length of your shoe
box. I think it's around 3.5" in focal length to fully cover a 4x5
piece of film.

I found this calculator online, gives you some working points for the
size pinhole you'll need for the given focal length and it will show
you what coverage and FOV you'll get. Not the most intuitive interface
though.
