Speaking of "digital lenses" has anyone seen reviews of the Sigma
lenses for the 4/3 system.

It appears while looking from an Olympus world that both C*non and N*kon are
changing their lenses to work specifically with digital ( becoming
telecentric? ) Although neither seems to want to produce a four thirds
camera it would sure be interesting if they did. A consumer could pick
whatever is best from any of the manufacturers and have all of the pieces
work together.

Unfortunately I don't think any of the manufacturers want to turn digital
cameras into a commodity where you can buy one cup of lenses from whomever
has the best deal at the moment.

Suppose Olympus developed or bought an incredible sensor. Wouldn't that push
even more consumers towards the four thirds system? On the other hand if
C*non comes out with incredible digital specific lenses that could be pretty
tough on the four thirds system. Seems they are in a race, maybe the winner
doesn't take all but being first will make a difference.
