Good to hear from you on this, C.H. I chose f16 for both
lenses because I felt that was appropriate to what I was
photographing in this case. That stop is important to me
to have and to use for proper DOF. I'm not trying to make
a case for either lens being better than the other, but I
will use the 50/3.5 again in the future if I want that stop.
