I'm hoping the predictions for Olympus are at least fairly accurate. I
think EVOLT success and a successful follow-on while be important to
Olympus financially, and an E-1 follow-on will be important in terms of
credibility and market position.
My gut tells me that for ME, 2007 will be a breakthrough year for
digital. I don't see me abandoning film (unless film truly is not
available) at any time in the near future. Unless there really IS an OM
digital, of course, and I can get digital prints in B&W that at least
equal silver prints.
