Scroll down to the first message in this thread, and that's the explanation. 
1/2000 in an OM-2 etc. is the 'mini shutter'.  Since 4, 4T, Ti already go to 
1/2000th, the mini shutter for those models should be faster , but testing 
mine shows that while the mini shutter is slightly faster than 1/2000th, it 
is not one stop faster.  1/4000th may not be feasible with a horizontal 
cloth focal plane shutter.
