Yes, I went to grad school at WSU, so I left and came back many times
:) I have since left more permanently. I heard that joke many times
from my students (mostly displaced Seattleites), who weren't joking.
Although I have no desire to work for WSU again, I liked the area a
lot. My wife and I were really jonesing for some Gambino's pizza just
the other day - northern New Mexico seems incapable of producing a
decent pizza joint.
