Larry,
To my knowledge a screen cannot be repaired (sort of like fixing
hard Jello). So either ignore it or replace it.

I just received an OM-2n that I purchased on eBay. While running a roll of
film through it today I noticed a dark line in the view finder that runs
almost to the split finder ring. I thought it was a hair so I took out the
screen and what I found was a line that looked like it had bee rubbed. With
the screen out it this line actually looked whiter then the rest of the
screen. Is this fixable or is it a live with it or replace the screen
situation?
