[OM] Phillips Photoflood bulbs

The message titled 'Studio light book needed' made me think about the
Phillips photoflood bulbs I have.
I have a great big box of these 300W bulbs.
As it is so gloomy here at this time of year I wondered if can I illuminate
an area indoors (and neighbourhood..they're rather bright) and use normal
daylight films?
