Hi Martyn

Here's the bit about the shift lens.

Hold the lens so that you are looking at the rear element (rear cap on is
 fine).  Shift the lens up to expose the felt light seal.  Look closely for a
small hole with a flat-head screw recessed in it.  Tighten this screw as 
needed. Then shift the lens down and treat the other screw similarly.

FWIW, it only took a very small turn to fix the problem.

These two screws are outside the inner lens cavity (hence you can leave the 
rear cap on) and are not particularly small cross-head screws.
