[OM] BW dilemma

Everyday, it seems that I'm getting closer and closer to going
100% digital. The efficiency gains are just too many to ignore.
And now, with really good DSLRs being an attainable, how can I
continue to keep one foot in film?

Ilford has made it very difficult to keep any loyalty there.
It's only a matter of time before there will no longer be film
choices. We'll have a handful to use and will long for the good
old days.

With the potential demise of the Ilford B&W lineup, I've had to
start investigating my options. What I'm finding is rather
interesting.

For the past couple of years my lab has been predominantly
Ilford based. Films of choice are Ilford, chemistry is Ilford
and for the most part the paper is Ilford. Scary, huh? I know
that there are "better" products out there, but the system
approach has served me very well and as a result I've been able
to handle other people's work in a predictable and profitable
manner.

Well, research is leading me towards alternative product lines,
of which I know won't be long-term (5+ years), but should be
around long enough to get me through the transition years.

As I research and test these alternative products I'll let you
all know what I find.
