Earlier I mentioned that I was thinking about something more modern
than our Voigtlander Perkeo E and Rolleicord V for MF.

I mostly agree with that. The Xenar, and the Color-Skopar on the Voigtlander,
give pretty impressive results. And I really enjoy the process of working
with them, slower and more relaxed. It's a different way of doing things.


But more modern systems (as modern as a eg a Bronica S2A or SQ :) ) have
a few conveniences such as interchangeable lenses (esp wides), better
viewfinders etc etc. And thus goes the history of photographic
technology ...


Certainly, if we can make the Voigt and the Rollei fill our MF
needs, then we will. But as usual, if newer technologu helps, then
it's best to use it.
