Can someone explain to me exactly how you operate an E-1 with one of
these lens adapters? Are you actually opening and closing the aperture
when you adjust the aperture settings? Is that what they mean when they
say, "operate at stop down shooting aperture"? So you move the aperture
ring and the lens actually stops down like in "preview" mode on my old
Yashica? And then I assume the meter on the E-1 operates normally? Am I
close on this one? Since I haven't ever tried it I'm a little hazy on
the procedure. I'm still not completely sold on the idea of using my OM
lenses with the magnification factor of the smaller sensor, but I'm
getting a little nuts about owning a "real" digital camera and starting
to wonder if I should take the plunge anyway.
