Mr Cad in Croydon have a Meade 2000mm 1:10 for sale at
GBP499.
Looks to be in good condition - it's ex police
surveillance. All cases and standard "bits" are
allegedly included. Needs a T mount for OM.
They also have a Tamron 300 1:2.8 SP with 1.4
multiplier and mount for GBP499. Pretty good
condition, glass good some wear around the metal
edges. I was nearly converted myself....
For an outlet not generally noted for selling
bargains, these prices seemed quite reasonable.
Also as a snippet they are buying any decent film
equipment they can get. Large numbers of their pro
customers are junking the digital kit and coming back
to real cameras, so they're ensuring they have the
stock.
