[OM] Dumb digital question...

I was looking at the digital scan backs that Betterlight makes. They 
talk about scan times of 60 seconds or so. Is that the exposure time? I 
thought this kind of approach was how Andreas Gursky has been shooting 
his giant crowd scenes and the like, but if that's the exposure time it 
can't be the case.
