the second one from the right is my best flying rang and the model
I use for making new ones. The ones to the left are ones I have
purchased or experimental duds. My two favorites are:

Most were made with 7 ply birch aircraft plywood. The early ones
were two sticks jointed together. Later ones were more curved
shaped. I still have some unfinished blanks I've been storing away
for years. The fancier ones I joined two boards together and cut to
a curved shape. For those who are inspired, check out the USBA
