I'd consider a station wagon for a vehicle... since I don't do much
off-roading I consider SUV's mostly like big boxy wagons. Two wagons that
I'd consider buying are the Subaru WRX-STI wagon and the Mercedes E-500
4-Matic wagon... preferably tweaked by AMG <g> For now though, I'm sticking
to my little old Honda... trying to get 300K on it, just over 20K to go...
My MPG has been pretty steadily 28-32 over the 18 years I've kept the book,
with spikes to the high 30's on road trips. Try that in your Suburban,
Tahoe, Escalade, Expedition, or Excursion...! Plus its a hatchback and so
could probably hold almost half my OM stuff <g>.
