It works!

I tripped the shutter maybe 120-150 times and left the camera for a 
couple of hours. Trying it again, it's now working fine. One other 
thing that it *might* have something to do with is the self-timer as I 
played around with it a little before leaving the camera alone for a 
bit. Now why didn't I just try one thing at a time. Good thing I 
diidn't take up a career in science.

Anyhow, it seems like it doesn't like being left alone and the chances 
are it will need a CLA at some point. In the meantime I'll just have to 
keep busy using it. But my friends got a digital spot meter, so I can 
check out at least what the camera tells me it's doing and KEH did say 
they checked it over, so barring any new trouble (or expert advice to 
the contrary) I think it's a keeper.
