I have a couple of 2x teleconverters for Pen F mount... I don't think they
are as good as the 7-element converters made for OM mount. I think they are
only 4-element, and performance is similar to the 4-element for OM series.
If you stop the lens down the degradation is minimized, but it is still
there. With only half the negative, the sharpness of the lenses is more
important for an equal print size (more magnification) so the Pen lenses
have to work harder. I'd suggest finding the primes instead of the 2x unless
you get one pretty cheap and understand its limitations. It is nowhere near
as good as the Olympus 2X-A converter, nor the 7-element aftermarket
converters, which are a notch under the 2X-A.
