and....for some reason I had my heart set on the 2S from the get go..there
is something that really attracted me to that body. Even more so than a
Om-4. Probably cuz it was more affordable.

Perhaps a 2S(P) is worth a try. They are cheaper to buy and easier to ID by
LED in viewfinder as to which version you are buying (check Lee Hawkins FAQ
for more on this).

I am interested in the spot metering...but dont really care about the top
shutter and flash functions. Just like you I want to take a picture in the
