"Adapt or die," I have heard it said. Since the OM system is all
but dead, I'm adapting it -- at least some parts of it. I have
enhanced and expanded the use of my macro flash gear in an
unauthorized manner, one I'm sure was never contemplated by
Olympus. Some may call it treason; others may say it's illegal,
maybe even immoral. So sue me!
There's no TTL, but what the hell? I've got a flash meter, so
shooting manual is a minor inconvenience, one that is far more
than offset by having sync from 1 to 1/500 sec. And to think all
it took was one $24 Hama blitzadapter and a few minutes spent
adapting the adapter!
Time for some BIG 1:1 Velvia and Provia trannies! :-)
