I have to admit that I have not seen the KGB bit before.

Other than that, the large red number 4 means pressure plate curvature 4
(the normal).

The E is actually a japanese character giving the manufacturing factory,
and the 11 means 1981, January.

Hi,
just took the pressure plate off my newly aquired OM2n to discover the
following -
written in pencil behind the plate KGB 61.2.8 and a large number 4 stamped
in red
stamped in red on reverse of pressure plate itself - E 11

does this info shed any light on date and place of production like the info
behind the pressure plate of OM1?

can anyone help out?
Thanks,
Alan
