The "banned from airlines" logo is more to do with shipping. For instance
they are not able to ship that item internationally or using an express
service in the US as it is not shippable by air.

It is also true that you probably couldn't take it on as a carry-on item on
a plane. But that has been true for several years. Technically you can't
take aerosols on planes but it seems like they bend the rule on that matter,
at least in my experience.
