For those interested in arranging shipping from the UK, the best advice is
to use Aimail Small Packet (100-2000g) combined with Airsure or
International Signed For service. Airsure is very fast and gives Track and
Trace, but costs £4 extra. ISF costs £2.85 and gives a receipt signature.
Try to keep packages under 2000g (4.4lb), or you have to use an expensive
parcel service (ParcelForce).

The US makes no restrictions other than a 4 lb weight. Australia says,
"(Anything larger than 260mm x 360mm, thicker than 20mm or heavier than
500g is considered a parcel) " A 250g letter is just $4.95 to Canada
