Does this imply that the flash will be fired in (about) 1/60 second after pressing the shutter release regardless of whether a possibly laggardly first curtain is fully open? If the first curtain was, say, 3ms slow in getting itself open would this show up as a shadow on the frame in an OM-4 and perhaps pass unnoticed in an OM-1 or OM-2?
